Mariama is on a mission to help volunteer leaders, boards, and professionals in nonprofits, associations, corporations, and education maximize results with diversity, equity, inclusion, access, accessibility, leadership, and wellbeing.

Mariama is the president and CEO of Achieve More LLC, celebrating over 20 years as an award-winning educational administrator, association executive, facilitator, coach, trainer, and consultant. Mariama guides individuals and organizations to move through transitions and discomfort, to find shared purpose, and create frameworks for constructive dialogue and action planning. She is a certified coach, licensed social worker in MD and VA, as well as a certified association executive. Mariama enjoys writing and is the author of articles, book chapters, and 3 books, the latest of which is VENT: Our Resilience Is Enough.

Having launched comprehensive multicultural programs, leadership and diversity strategy, organizational transformation, partnerships, membership development, and leadership initiatives in education, associations, and non-profits her commitment to DEIA+A stems from a personal passion for social justice, child welfare, and dialogue.

Join us for a world café style listening session! Your views, voice, and experiences matter and will create shared proposals to grow school nutrition and belonging to the next level. All are welcome to engage and participate in this dialogue facilitated by consultants with Achieve More LLC about DEI related topics, questions, and issues.
