Registration and Badge Pick-Up

Registration and badge pick-up will take place at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center in the North Lobby starting at 2:00 pm on Friday, July 12th.  Saturday to Monday, Registration will open at 7:30 am and close at 5:00 pm. Registration will close at noon on Tuesday.

Badge and Ticket(s) Policy

For security purposes, each person must present identification in order to receive registration materials and will not be allowed to pick up another attendee’s badge or registration materials. Badges must be worn during the conference hours for admittance to the pre-conference events, exhibit hall, sessions and/or social events. Anyone without an ANC 2024 badge will be asked to register for the conference. To reprint a lost badge, there will be a fee of $5.00. Tickets to ANC events will NOT be reprinted, no exceptions. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

Cancellations & Schedule Changes

Circumstances beyond SNA’s control—weather, transportation difficulties or last-minute cancellations by program participants (speakers, presenters)—may necessitate changes in the scheduling or presentation of events and/or programs or even cancellation of a particular scheduled event or speaker. SNA is not responsible for any disappointment, inconvenience, or “loss” caused by such an eventuality. Check the ANC 2024 App for last minute updates.

Conference Photos

Attendance at ANC constitutes an agreement by the registrant for SNA to take and use photos, video, and audio tapes in public spaces during the conference and related events. SNA may take photographs, videos or recordings of ANC events, which may include the likeness or participation of attendees, and reproduce them in future educational, news or promotional materials, in print, electronic or other media, including the SNA website and its social media channels. Attendance at ANC constitutes a waiver and release any claims against SNA and its employees, members, and representatives, as well as granting SNA permission to make, use, and distribute such items, without payment or compensation.

Members of the School Nutrition Association of Massachusetts are serving as your hosts. Please feel free to use them as a resource, as they are available to help you feel more at home.

Smoking

The Boston Convention and Exhibition Center is a smoke-free facility. Smoking is not permitted at any time.

Accessibility & Special Needs

SNA is committed to enabling access to all meeting activities, including dietary restrictions, to the extent reasonably possible and as required by law. To discuss or notify SNA about your access needs, please email meetings@schoolnutrition.org no later than June 17, 2024.

For nursing mothers, the BCEC has a Mamava Pod on Level 1 SE Side of the building.

Emergencies

To report an emergency, please call 617.954.2222. This telephone number is a direct line to the BCEC Public Safety Command Center (PSCC), which is staffed twenty-four hours a day, seven days per week and is the emergency communications hub for the BCEC.

When reporting an emergency, please give the following information:

  • The location
  • The nature of the emergency
  • Number of persons involved
  • Nature and extent of injuries, if any
  • Any other pertinent information that may be helpful for responding emergency crews

Please call the BCEC Public Safety Command Center at 617.954.2222 to report all emergencies. The Command Center is in direct contact with all local emergency services and will call 911 on your behalf. If you choose to contact 911 on your own, please notify the Command Center immediately afterward so that they can assist with the first responders in locating where you are in the building. Failure to contact the Command Center may result in a significant delay in the response time of emergency personnel.

In the case of an evacuation, an announcement will be made over the speaker system and security officers and convention center staff will provide additional instruction.

Lost & Found

During event operating hours, lost and found is located at the Public Safety desk on Level 1 (North Lobby) at the Summer Street entrance. After event hours, lost and found items are stored in the Public Safety Command Center. Product Sales

Sales of any products are strictly prohibited by contract with the Convention Center. The Convention Center personnel will rigorously enforce this regulation. Anyone apprehended will have his/her products seized and may be asked to leave the conference.

References in any ANC materials or during the conference to any products, services or expressed ideas do not constitute or imply their endorsement by SNA.

Anti-Harassment Policy

SNA is committed to creating and maintaining a harassment-free environment for all participants in the Association’s activities, including ANC. All attendees, employees, contractors, vendors and guests are expected to engage in mutually respectful behavior and to preserve SNA’s standards of professionalism at all times.

SNA does not permit its name, logo or written materials to be copied, republished, excerpted, hypertext-linked to a website or otherwise used for any commercial purpose, including advertising, or to suggest any endorsement, affiliation or sponsorship of any third-party product or service, without the prior written permission of SNA. Accordingly, no entity or individual may, in any written, verbal or electronic communication, including but not limited to press releases, promotional materials, advertisements, articles, videotapes, emails, telephone calls or face-to-face discussions, state or imply in any way that SNA has endorsed, recommended, approved, sponsored or taken any other position regarding any product or service without SNA’s prior written consent.

Antitrust Policy Statement

It is the policy of SNA and the responsibility of every Association member and participating industry organization to comply in all respects with federal and state antitrust laws. No activity or discussion at any Association meeting or other function may be engaged in for the purpose of bringing about any understanding or agreement among members that may violate or appear to violate the antitrust laws, including but not limited to raise, lower or stabilize prices; to regulate production; to allocate markets; to encourage boycotts; to foster unfair trade practices; to assist monopolization; or to in any way violate federal or state antitrust laws. Any questions regarding the meaning or applicability of this policy, as well as any concerns regarding activities or discussions at SNA meetings, should be promptly brought to the attention of SNA’s Executive Office.
